In this article we will focus more on improving our academic writing skills. In order to improve academic writing skills, the first and foremost things you should need is knowledge of the language can say vocabulary skills, next a good writing tool which has editor in built and knowledge about the subject you are planning to write. Then finally knowledge about formatting styles.

How to improve language

To learn any language effectively, the first thing you need to do is to practice reading, followed by listening, then observing, then listening and observing and finally speaking. So how to improve them?

Reading skills

Reading skills can be improved by starting to read comic books with more pictures to create interest in reading. Then, once you have an interest, start by reading the newspaper, followed by your favorite topic, which can be a novel or your own topic. Once you've created this habit, you'll obviously start to improve your vocabulary.

Listening skills

I recommend listening to the podcast as I find it quite informative and engaging. Also, the news channel if you want to listen to the news. There are also a number of ways to improve listening, but these two are my favorite.

Watching skills

TED shows are both fun to watch and help you learn languages. News channels are also a great way to watch and learn languages.

Speaking skills

Clear speaking will develop as you master the above but speaking usually doesn't involve any formality. Even informal means don't matter while we're talking. But the more you speak that language, the more confident you become, which can improve your writing skills as you develop the habit of thinking about things in that language.

Writing and editing tools

The best tool that I personally like for academic writing is Microsoft Word. If you can buy a Microsoft 365 plan that has built-in editor features that will tell you about clear context, typos, more synonyms, and more. then another great feature when you buy this package is you get access to power point, excel etc. this will really help you in your research analysis and presentation. Apart from all these features, MS Word is integrated with free APA templates which is the most common writing style in most academic work, resume templates, presentation templates etc., which will help you throughout your academic journey.
